Remember when?
This photo appeared suddenly today
while I was supposed to be doing something important.
It made me think about how photos jog our memories
and transport us back to a place and time that we may have forgotten,
a moment when we were in awe of nature’s magnificence,
admiring an architectural delight,
creating a sweet memory,
or embarking on an exciting adventure.
They are reminders not to live small
and instead, to push back on our self-imposed boundaries
so that we may continue to learn and grow
and do all that we can to uphold,
respect and enjoy the gift of living in such a
beautiful world.
