Now why is it so gosh darned hard to throw away that never ending, always multiplying “to do” list and spend time richly – by slowing down, and just plain old taking it easy.
Allowing ourselves to rock on the porch in the evening sun – or wow, even more of a challenge – sit down and rock with the morning sun, and just…cogitate.
I wonder why most of us no longer have rockers or porches? And if we don’t have those things, does it also mean that we no longer have time to cogitate either?
Work with dedication, live with joy, and above all, take time to slow down and bask in the evening sun…
